The winners have been announced for the raffle in aid of the Heath Robinson Museum in Pinner. Sponsored by Mobalpa Kitchens in Marsh Road, raffle prizes included a Quooker Boiling Water Tap and a Neff Slide and Hide Oven.
The winners were:

3rd Prize – Book of Heath Robinson Drawings ‘Railway Ribaldry’: Nanci Lister
4th Prize – Book ‘Around Pinner: Faith Holland
5th Prize – Book “Heath Robinson at West House”: Tricia Savours
First prize-winner Marcia Michael, Manager of Mary’s Living and Giving shop in Pinner High Street, was delighted to have won. ‘I am really happy to have been able to help the Heath Robinson Museum. Hopefully it will put us on the map a bit more.’
Les Conway, Chair of the Pinner and Northwood Business Club, won the Neff Slide and Hide Oven. ‘Now he can enter the Bake-Off competition!’ his wife Caroline joked. ‘The Museum will make a huge difference to Pinner,’ commented Les. The Business Club has already made a £1000 donation to the Heath Robinson Museum.
Mo Yaqub, Manager of Mobalpa Kitchens, felt that local people had got to know them as a new business. ‘It was a pleasure to support the museum and invest in the local community; we are here for the long term.’
